Yeah, we’re hitting the fifties in real fine style and with true Barnyard vigour, passion and that signature shake, rattle & roll. We then move on to the 60s where we introduce some of the greatest music of our time presented in a swinging London scene, Carnaby Street, where anything can happen. The sixties features music from The Beach Boys, Roy Orbison and The Supremes as well as our flamboyant compere ’Awesome Powers’. So get ready for a nostalgic trip that will have you rocking and a reeling to the decade of The Swinging Sixties when the world was free and the party went on forever! In the 70s we take you on a journey through a decade that we will musically never forget! Featuring everything from rock groups like Deep Purple to the disco era of Bee Gees, Donna Summer and Le Freak! We all remember those crazy platform shoes when mirror balls and disco music instantly took the world by storm -- creating a never-ending party! A vast amount of music was recorded in the 80s and we remember the movie themes like Dirty Dancing, Fame and Footloose, icons like Lionel Ritchie, pop bands like Depeche Mode and our own local SA sounds of bands like Savuka and Hotline. The eighties was a time of absolute fun and produced simply the greatest hits and music of our era. The 90s saw the creation of many diverse scenes in music, but the decade was best known for girl groups like Spice Girls, boy bands like Boyz II Men, pop bands like Roxette and icons like Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin. The nineties was a daring and innovative decade and produced music that we will always remember and cherish. Lastly we arrive in present times and the year 2000 and beyond where the music still lives on. Girls in rock have become a dominant force with artists like Christina Aguilera ruling the airwaves. The rock scene saw hits by Mika and Kid Rock, and let’s not forget the Soccer World Cup 2010 with songs like Waka Waka and Wavin’ Flag. This is the countdown, and what a journey it will be!
